Development of universal solvent-based tinters has facilitated coating manufacturers greatly. They may make various coatings by using one tinter. Nevertheless, one problem of universal tinters is poor compatibility with some resin, such as nitrocellulose. It is troublesome to manufacturers that many universal solvent-based tinters using certain dispersants having poor compatibility with nitrocellulose.
